Our manufacturing expertise and abilities are very diverse. In addition to being expert tool makers, Pacific Western Aerostructures has a thorough knowledge of all aspects of conventional manufacturing techniques and utilizes the latest state of the art procedures found throughout our industry. One of our keys to success is found in the diverse manufacturing relationships developed over the 56 years we have served the aviation community. These relationships have allowed us access to some of the most highly specialized machinery through out our network of sister companies. Access to this highly specialized machinery coupled with PW Aero's Expertly Engineered Tooling & Procedures has allowed us to offer an amazing array of manufacturing support for your most complex flight components and assemblies.

Precision Machining & Fabrication
All Engineering and Programing are done using the latest version of Master Cam and Cad Key. We have the ability of reading and translating most Cad formats such as Solid Works, Catia and Pro-E.
PW Aero's staff are excellent tool makers. We pride ourselves in developing and building Form and Draw Tooling for your most complex solid models.
Hydro Forming, Stretch Forming & Spun Metal Products
We manufacture a wide variety of Hydro Form Tooling for the Metal Forming Industry. Our abilities to machine complex surfaces from solid models has enabled us to develop precise "Hydro Form Dies".
By developing and manufacturing our own tooling, we can help to control your costs and lead times by not having to depend on an outside toolmaker to build tools.
Precision Sheet Metal Fabrication
Our sheet metal fabrication department uses Cad Key Pro Fold for pre-layout and development. This program actually generates your flat pattern from your 3 D solid model. By utilizing Pro Fold in conjunction with our Omax Water Jet, we can create a complex flat pattern in the shortest lead time. This allows our mechanics to build a complete fabricated and formed detail for proofing in about the time it use to take for just the engineering alone.
